about

"In 1360, Zen master Kozan Ichikyo wrote this jisei (death poem) just before his passing:

"Empty-handed I entered the world
Barefoot I leave it.
My coming, my going -
Two simple happenings
That got entangled."

The images used for this release were taken from the Fuji Kikaku film Shiro-Shôzoku: harakiri.

All sounds by Saigo Isao."
